Rapid Skateboarding is a new skateshop in Simi Valley, California! Skater-owned and operated by the good homies Dustin Snyder and Sean Foy. They approached me about featuring a painting that would portray the culture of skateboarding. Skateboarding for me has always been a form of street art in itself, but translating this expression into an abstract painting has been a treat. Check out the Transworld interview along with a story of how they got started in the link below.

JORGE LUIS SANTOS PRESENTS NEW SHOW IN LOS ANGELES

MANCHAS DE ZAPATOS

Cuban Artist Jorge Luis Santos tells us all to take a hike! With his new show coming up this weekend at Lowell Ryan Projects translating to “shoe stains,” calls for a unique history of each artwork literally stemming from our feet and rooted individuality. In that sense, it only feels right to see artworks that resemble a path of getting somewhere you wouldn’t have fully anticipated without taking that initial step forward. Take a peek into the exciting new and beautiful paintings.

Show Opening: Saturday January 9th, 12 - 6pm. On View till February 27, 2021.
